Page and Associates has been providing strategic financial planning and investment management services to affluent Canadian families and business owners for over 25 years.
Today, our clients include the children and grandchildren of our earliest clients. We consider ourselves stewards of family wealth, and work across generations to ensure that legacies can be passed on in an efficient and effective manner.
In 1982, John Page researched attitudes of Canadians toward financial planning and investment management under contract from Paul Demarais Jr. of Power financial corp. The results showed that affluent Canadians wanted a comprehensive strategy to achieve their life goals, including their financial goals, but going beyond these to their true passions.
Following this research, John developed and refined the Wealth Enhancement Process™, a financial planning and service process that has been refined by this firm over the past 25 years. This set of processes today forms the basis of the Best Practices Manual of Advocis (the Canadian Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors).
In 1997 Page merged with Kenneth Brown Investment Services, of Richmond Hill. They combined their operations at the historic John Palmer House, a well-known century home at the southeast corner of Yonge Street and Major Mackenzie Drive, and adopted the Page and Associates brand.
Ken and Bill had started as tax preparers, and had built up a thriving deposit brokerage business over the years. With the transition to Page and Associates, additional services were added, including comprehensive financial planning, life and health insurance, and professional investment portfolio management through investment funds and referral relationships with investment counsel / portfolio management firms.
Over time, our clientele grew and was spread across the greater Toronto area, especially in York and Durham regions. With increasing traffic on Yonge Street and Major Mackenzie Drive, the Palmer House location was becoming inconvenient for the next generation of clients who mostly lived outside the old town.
In 2008, the operation was moved to a more modern facility in the professional building at 95 Mural Street in the new downtown Richmond Hill. This location contains our client service staff and client meeting facilities, and houses most of our principal advisors.
The Mural Street location is convenient to get to from across the Greater Toronto Area, just off Highway 404 and 16th Avenue.
We are still taking new clients, so please click to find out more about our services.
